NEWPORT, TN – On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, Barbara Jo Keelyn, 73, passed away at the home of her granddaughter in Linden NC.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2023 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Ayers officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ansonville.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Barbara was born March 1, 1949 in Baltimore, MD and was a daughter of the late Robert Jeff Keelyn and the late Myrtle Mae Brewer Keelyn. She had worked as a customer service agent with Walmart.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Terry Johnson; her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Sherri Dell of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Jon-Jeffery E. Johnson of Fayetteville, Hunter Page (Joshua) of Linden, Cordelia Dell and Joshua Dell both of Fayetteville, John Hill (Keturah) of Tacoma, WA, Kathryn Hill of Fayetteville and Amanda Hill (David Brown) of Raeford; her great-grandchildren, Jermaine Hill, Jamisson Hair, Harley Page, Colton Page, Jax Nelson, Jefferson Hill, Raelynn Page and Norah Hilton; and her brother Robert (Bobby) Keelyn (Ann Zilinsky), (Nephew) Nicholas Keelyn and (Niece)Megan Keelyn Toomey (Danny) of Toms River, NJ. (Sister) Susan Keelyn of Charlotte, NC
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Emmalynn Hair.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Ave #100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
