Barbara Keyser Obituary
She was born on September 6, 1934, in Eddystone, PA to the late Jacob and Bella Miller. Barbara attended Eddystone High School, graduating in 1951. While attending high school, she met the love of her life, Don, at a dance, and they were later married in 1954.
Barbara's pride and joy was being a wonderful homemaker and raising her three daughters. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and daughters, was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, watching the Eagles, Phillies, 76ers, and Villanova basketball, as well as tennis. Once her grandchildren were born, she enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. She also enjoyed doing ceramics, gifting her pieces to family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Donald Keyser, and her 5 siblings.
Barbara is survived by her three daughters, Sharen Baker and her husband Keith of Wilmington, DE, Donna Keyser and her husband Sander of Pittsburgh, PA, and Debbie Buckley of Reading, PA, 8 grandchildren, Michelle (David), Jennifer (Justin), John (Rachel), Laura (Paul), Derek, Barbara, Patrick and Jonathan, and 9 great-grandchildren.
A committal service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Barbara's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Online Donations - St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
