Born on December 3, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, Barbara was a bright spirit who brought joy to everyone around her with her flair for elegance and her love for life.
Barbara, known affectionately by many as a dedicated homemaker, spent her days creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family. She had an innate ability to transform her house into a beautiful and stylish home, reflecting her very fancy personality. Her love for shopping and decorating was matched only by her immense love for her family, whom she adored deeply. Barbara also celebrated the joy of being a great-grandmother to her precious Willow, who brought another layer of happiness to her life.
Barbara’s enduring spirit will continue to resonate through her brothers, Ron (the late Shirley) Meggison and Ward “Rick” (Donna) Meggison, who have shared countless memories with her over the years.
Barbara was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Chester “Chet” Kolerski, who was her partner in life and love. She was also predeceased by her parents, Paul and Marguretta Meggison, and her brother, Duane (Sherry) Meggison. In addition, she leaves behind a memory of friendship with her most special lifetime friend, Barbara Kadecke, whose companionship enriched her life.
