Barbara Lichtfus Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cantelmi Long Funeral Home - Bethlehem on Apr. 7, 2025.
Barbara Lichtfus, 76, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025. Born May 2, 1948, in Southampton, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late George and Anna (Palmaro) Lichtfus.
She shared a joyful childhood with her late brother and best friend, George Lichtfus, Jr., and was a proud graduate of Archbishop Wood High School. Barbara went on to enjoy a long career as a processor with the Federal Reserve. She also enjoyed a long retirement. Barbara loved reading a variety of books and long walks with her favorite dog, Brandy.
She will be deeply missed by her niece and nephews, who she cared for dearly. Her kindness, quiet strength, and steady presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Barbara's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.

We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Aunt Barbara. She was a friendly neighbor to us and always waved to say Hello. May she rest in peace in the heaven of our Lord. God Bless you Barbara.

Barbara was our neighbor for 17 years and the nicest, sweetest lady I ever knew. I would see Barbara take her daily walk with Brandy ever day. She will be dearly missed. RIP Barbara.
