Michael D. Sheehan

Michael D. Sheehan, of Chalfont, PA died on Monday, February 23, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family after a strong fight against Leukemia. He was 73.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Edward M. Sheehan Sr. and Elizabeth Dudley Sheehan and brother of the late Kevin Sheehan, Joseph Sheehan and Edward M. Sheehan, Jr.

A graduate of Archbishop Wood High School, and later, St. Joe's University, he carried with him the values of loyalty, and hard work throughout his life. Those who knew him would describe him as dependable, generous, and quietly strong- someone you could always count on.

He found his greatest pride in his family and the life he built with them. Whether it was traveling to a ballgame, planning a trip to Wildwood, or a drop-in visit on a Sunday morning, he always found a way to show up for his family. His love was constant and unconditional, and the example he set - of commitment, presence and a little sprinkle of sarcasm- will live on through his children and all who were fortunate enough to be loved by him.

He is survived by his devoted longtime partner, Pamela Desch Troisi; his children including Andrew Sheehan and his wife Jill, Troy Sheehan and his girlfriend Jocelyn, and Hannah Finnerty and her husband Justin; his siblings and their loved ones Nancy Sheehan, Patrick (Sue) Sheehan, Elizabeth (Michael) McAfee, Brian (Trisha) Sheehan, Mary Jane (Tom) Williams, Timothy (Sue) Sheehan, Jack Sheehan, Bob (Alyssa) Sheehan, Helen (Dennis) Conroy, and Eileen Sheehan. He is also survived by his six adoring grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings, from 4:00 - 6:00pm, Sunday, March 1, 2026 in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. New Britain, PA 18901 and on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 10:30am until Words of Remembrance, 11:15am in St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Ave. Chalfont, PA 18914 with his Funeral Mass to follow at 11:30am. His interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Doylestown Health Infusion Center, 599 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. Michael's family would like to thank the medical teams at Doylestown Hospital and Penn Medicine for their devoted care.
