Ms. Barbara A. Lockamy

Ms. Barbara A. Lockamy, age 84 of Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the Suites of AccentCare Hospice, Wilmington, Delaware
Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, she was the only daughter of Esther M. Lockamy. She had a strong belief in her Baptist faith.
Prior to retirement, Barbara loved her work as a banquet server at the Vicmead Hunt Club and Bidermann Golf Course in Wilmington, Delaware. Barbara was often requested by its membership for private events and holidays family dinners in their homes.
Barbara enjoyed her summertime vacations in Ocean City, New Jersey, along with family who rented the same 36th Street shore home for over 30 years. She enjoyed reading and time with her extended family.
In addition to her late mother, Barbara was preceded in death by her only son, Mark Lockamy who passed in 1994 and her sister, Joan Draper. She is survived by her grandson, Mark Lockamy; her brother-in-law William Draper, her aunt Doris Lockamy and several cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Williams Funeral Home and Burial Services.
