Barbara Lynn Maloney, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 26, 2025. Born on October 26, 1962, Barbara lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a profound appreciation for her family.
A proud graduate of Andrean High School in Merrillville, Indiana, Barbara was known for her big heart and infectious humor. She embodied the spirit of a loving, free-spirited individual, often embracing the ideals of a hippy lifestyle. Barbara cherished the time spent with her family, finding immense joy in the presence of her grandchildren, whom she adored deeply.
Barbara's love for music, particularly the timeless tunes of the Beatles, brightened the lives of those around her, often leading her to craft moments that blended creativity and joyous family gatherings. Her natural talent for crafting provided her with an outlet to express her creativity and share her love with family and friends.
In a beautiful union, Barbara married Thomas Maloney on October 26, 1985. Together, they raised three children: Leah Foster, T.J. Maloney, and Peanut Maloney, fostering a loving home filled with warmth and affection. As a devoted stay-at-home wife and mother, Barbara’s proudest accomplishments revolved around her role within her family, where she made a lasting impact through her unwavering dedication.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Maloney, and her cherished children: Leah (Dustin) Foster, T.J. (Ashley) Maloney, and Peanut (Allie) Maloney. She was a doting grandmother to Blaine, Laila, Saylor, Riley, Amirah, and Aurora Maloney, Delaney Foster, and Graysen Trimbur, who will forever hold onto the fond memories created with their grandmother.
She is predeceased by her beloved mother, Adrienne Lynn; her father, Stanley Lynn; and her brother, Mark Lynn. Their memories will remain a treasured part of Barbara’s legacy.
Visitation will be held on November 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at Little & Sons Funeral Home, located at 4901 E Stop 11 Rd in Indianapolis, Indiana. The memorial service will commence at 2:00 PM.
As we remember Barbara Lynn Maloney, we celebrate a woman who touched the lives of many. Her love for family, her vibrant spirit, and her ability to find joy in the smallest moments have left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives she enriched.
