Barbara L. Manning

Barbara L. (Connor) Manning, 86, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Of Bridgewater, formerly of East Weymouth, and Dorchester.
Devoted wife of the late Gerald J. Manning. Beloved mother of Geraldine L. Lydon and her husband John of Sabattus, ME, Michael J. Manning and his wife Marion of Bridgewater, James W. Manning of Bridgewater, Thomas K. Manning and his wife Sharon of Raynham, and Kathleen L. Manning and her partner Mark Bernardinelli of Bridgewater, and the late Joseph L. Manning. Loving Nana to thirteen grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Daughter of the late Louise T. Connor. Dear sister of Jean Gurrisi and her husband William of Winchester, Edward Connor and his wife Carole of East Walpole and the late William Connor and his wife Margaret of Brookline, sister-in-law of Mary Barron of CA. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Barbara loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed bingo and watching golf. Former employee of the Colonial Nursing Home Weymouth and Saint Margaret's Hospital Dorchester.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater, MA on Friday, September 16th at 10:30AM. Interment to follow at the Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, MA. Visiting hours will be held in the Chapman Funerals and Cremations (Prophett Chapel) 98 Bedford St., BRIDGEWATER on Thursday, September 15th from 4:00PM – 7:00PM.
