Barbara Marino

Barbara A. Marino, 85, of Annapolis, MD died of natural causes on Saturday, February 10th in her home. She was surrounded by her family that day. Born on August 8, 1938, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Frank and Wilma Ambrose, Barbara was a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a volunteer with Anne Arundel Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jack Marino. Barbara is survived by her children, Amy and her husband Paul Hamilton of Ocean View, DE, Melissa and her husband Brian Pittman of Annapolis, MD, Mary and her husband Justin Davis of Edgewater, MD, Mark and his wife Cynthia Marino of Odenton, MD and Bruce Marino and his partner Katy Morris of Willoughby, OH. Her brother, Bruce Ambrose lives in Pittsburgh, PA. Barbara loved spending time with her grandchildren: David, Scott, Drew, Jules and James Marino, Jack Hamilton, Stephanie Roa, Hannah and Julia Morris, Emmalyn Pittman, and Gianna and Ava Davis. She also had five great-grandchildren.
Barbara was a light in the community, and she loved spending time helping others. Her smile was unforgettable.
Friends are invited to celebrate Barbara's life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, February 20th from 4 to 6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD on Wednesday, February 21st at 10:30 am.
