Barbara (Stuecken) Marsh, 88, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026.

She was born March 20, 1937 to Oscar I. and Marie C. (Feuring) Stuecken in Truxton, Missouri.

Her heart found its match when she married Harold Dean Marsh on June 7, 1958. Their union was a testament to love and partnership until Harold's passing on September 27, 1999.

Professionally, Barbara worked as a pensions clerk for Minnesota Life Insurance, where her tenure spanned 19 years before her well-deserved retirement.

Barbara found solace and strength in her faith as a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Barbara found joy in the pages of a good book, with stories that carried her to other worlds and times. Her hands were rarely still, often busy with sewing projects that she crafted with care and skill. In her golden years, she enjoyed the activities at the Vintage Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pamela Deward (Rick); brothers, Marvin and Willard Stuecken.

Survivors include her daughters, Leticia Duryee (Terry) and Lisa Bryans; grandchildren, Julie Duryee Thompson (Jeff), David Duryee (Jessica), Rachel Duryee Means (Zack), Mandy Duryee Preston (Brian), Alex Duryee (Samantha), Elizabeth Deward Malloy (Matthew), Jonathan Deward, Mathew Deward, Bailey Bryans Qualm (Brent), Lauren Bryans Priolieu (James), Mackenzie Bryans Buringa (Tyler), Samuel Bryans (Kelsey), Benjamin Bryans, and Aaron Bryans; and 12 great grandchildren.

Natural Farewell under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
