LaFaun Eileen Bell, born on October 4, 1951, passed away peacefully on February 28 2026, in St. Joseph, Missouri. She lived a life marked by kindness and unwavering dedication to her family and community.
LaFaun was a cherished member of the Saint Joseph community, where she resided for a majority of her life. Through her many contributions, she touched the hearts of those around her, demonstrating both compassion and resilience in everything she endeavored.
Born in Maryville Missouri, she married the love of her life Ronald Lane Bell August 24, 1974 in Lancaster, Ohio. LaFaun and Ron later moved to Thief River Falls Minnesota, and in 1987 moved to St. Joseph. LaFaun and Ron were married for 52 years. Ron adoringly called LaFaun "Peachy". She wrote Ron a love letter titled "My Precious husband", it has been the anchor of his life with her for their entire 52 years together. What she wrote in a portion of the letter, shows how much they loved each other. "My life with you is never dull, the years have moved swiftly but our love continues to grow. God gave us to each other.”
LaFaun was the proud mother of two daughters, Misty Neff and Christy Clemens. She was an adoring "Nana" to seven grandchildren, Ana Neff, Isaac Neff, Hayley Neff, Atahir Neff, Sydney Neff, Kit Clemens, and Finn Clemens.
LaFaun Eileen Bell will be deeply missed, but her spirit and the warmth she brought to those around her will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones.
