Barbara McAdam Obituary
Barbara B. McAdam, 75, of Wausau, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center, Weston.
She was born on November 10, 1950, in Riverside, CA, daughter of the late, Robert and Doris (Richardson) Mellinger. Barbara was a third-generation military member, honorably serving for 23 years in the U.S. Navy. Barbara traveled all over serving in the Navy Seebees, even serving in the South Pole. Outside of her military service, Barbara loved spending time outside, her favorite activities being hiking and bike riding.
Barbara is survived by her former husband, James McAdam, Mosinee.
Per Barbara’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be directed to the family at www.bestefh.com.
