Barbara Anne McClendon was born on July 11, 1962, to Marion H. McClendon and the late Lynell 'Boot' Robinson.

Barbara received her formal education in the public schools of Early County. Barbara was a proud member of the Track and Field Team and a 1980 graduate of Early County High. She attended Bainbridge Community College in Early County.

A Time to Serve: Revelations 14:7:

At an early age, Barbara united with Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Blakely, Georgia. She served on the Usher Board. She was employed at the Early County Cotton Gin in Blakely, Georgia for over 30 years. She was a loyal Dallas Cowboy and Los Angelas Lakers fan.

Barbara became the proud mother of Antonio McClendon, Michael Blake McClendon, Brandi Stringer, and Desiree McClendon.

On Saturday, July 26,2025, our Queen Barbara Anne McClendon traded her earthly home to go to her mansion, prepared by her Heavenly Father. She was preceded in transition by her father: Mr. Lynell 'Boot' Robinson; Two sisters, Betty McClendon and Mary Reed; A brother, David McClendon, Jr.

Barbara leaves her mother, Marion H. McClendon; children: Antonio (Danielle) McClendon, Michael Blake McClendon, Brandi (Mark) Stringer, and Desiree McClendon; siblings: Sally Jean Tinson, Marion McClendon, Minnie Mae Jackson, Ruby Nell McClendon, Mattie Mae McClendon, Doris Daniels, Genet McClendon, William Griffin, Robert Jackson, Robert Earl Wimberly, Jerry Young, Annie George, Cherry Ford-Jenkins, Annette Thornton, Harry Bryant, Francis Robinson, Thadeus Robinson, and Mayor Travis (LaTasha) Wimbush; grandchildren: Isaiah, Elijah, Kierra, Michael Jr, Niashilli, Semajai, Ashley, Amya, Xavior, Jordan, Ahmari, and Autumn. Four Great-grandchildren; three very special friends: Alberta Bush, Cassandra Hodges, and Cherita Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
