With great sadness, we announce the passing of Barbara, who left us on January 29, 2025. Barbara was a woman of grace, beauty, and elegance. She was a shining presence who always knew how to light up a room with her infectious smile and impeccable style.
Barbara was known for her love of luxury. She was always impeccably put together in a fashionable outfit, dazzling jewelry, or the latest handbag. She had an eye for beauty, and her passion for shopping was only rivaled by her adoration for fine chocolate-both of which brought her joy on the sweetest of days.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Barbara and Danny hosted annual Labor Day cookouts, and those moments will forever live in our hearts. Barbara's kindness, generosity, and sparkling personality made her a cherished Wife, Aunt, and confidant. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth and distinctive sense of style, creating a lasting impression that will never be forgotten.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Daniel McCubbin; brother-in-law Timothy McCubbin, wife Judy, and their son, Brian McCubbin; daughter Melissa Reagan (husband Thomas), and their children Josh and Brooke; brother-in-law Robert McCubbin, wife Suzie; daughter Stephanie Doherty (husband Andrew), and children Jaxon and Preston.
Her legacy of beauty, joy, and love for the little things in life will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Barbara's life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD, on Friday, February 7, from 4 pm-6 pm. A graveside service will be held at Loudon Park Cemetery, 3620 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD, on Tuesday, February 11, at 11:00 am.
