Barbara Kathleen Eldridge McGlone, age 82, of Bucyrus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Avita Health System in Galion, Ohio.
She was born February 24, 1943, in Morehead, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Ray and Amanda Marie Gregory Eldridge. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy Eldridge, James Vernon Eldridge, and Estill Eldridge.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons, Rick McGlone and wife Elizabeth of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Kevin McGlone of Bucyrus, Ohio; two daughters, Kimberly McGlone of Bucyrus, Ohio, and Karen McGlone of Neponset, Illinois; one brother, Roger Eldridge of Bucyrus, Ohio; one special grandson, Ricky Jason McGlone and wife Payton; and a precious great granddaughter, Eleanor McGlone, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Barbara was a former employee of Geauga Plastics in Crestline, Ohio, and a former motel and real estate owner in Bucyrus, Ohio. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose life was focused on her family. She enjoyed her home, baking, sewing, and making special memories with family, especially her grandson. A Christian, she always enjoyed attending church. She will be greatly missed and remembered with love.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memory Chapel with Brother Bobby Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Eldridge Cemetery on Bull Fork Road in Morehead.
Pallbearers will be Ricky J. McGlone, Tim Eldridge, Brian Eldridge, Tim Webb, Jeff McGlone and Danny McGlone.
Visitation for Barbara K. Eldridge McGlone will be Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
