Barbara Jane Miller

Barbara (nee Simons) age 79 of Southport, NC, passed away on August 5, 2022 after one hell of a fight against lung cancer. Barbara was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, where in 1963 she met and married her Marine and love of her life, Bob. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Barbara, especially spending time making memories with her family and she never missed an opportunity to go shopping. Her spunky personality was certainly one to be cherished. Beloved wife of the late Robert Miller; loving mother to two daughters, Robyn DiTocco and her husband Dean, and Kerry Bouteloupt and her husband Marty; and cherished Nanny to her four grandchildren, Nicole Tedona and her husband John, Taylor DiTocco, Colette Bouteloupt, and Kyle Bouteloupt. She is also survived by her sister - in - laws, nieces, nephews, and many caring and cherished friends. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Ruth Simons, and her sister Patricia Quagliozzi. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home in 113 South Farview Avenue Paramus on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 11:30am to 12:30pm followed by graveside service at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ at 1:00pm.
