Barbara E. (VanOrman) Morrison,95, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2026. She was born on Oct. 28, 1930 a daughter of the late Chester and Anna VanOrman and was born and raised in Springfield, Ma. She had an impressive career with Mass Mutual in Springfield, MA for over 27 years. She retired in 1988 after being a Senior Buyer there for many years. She was a faithful parishioner of the St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Longmeadow. She enjoyed spending time with her loving) family, dearest friends, and those wonderful (past and current) folks from Porta Villa Condos. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years Ronald H. Morrison and a son Dr. Mark B. Morrison. She was preceded in death by all of her siblings Norma Van Orman, Hilda (Kenny) Little, Richard Van Orman, Douglas (Irene) Van Orman, and Donald Van Orman': Also her sister/brother-in-law, Elaine and Ronald Coleman; Jean Van Orman She is survived by her caring and devoted son Kyle Morrison and his wife Janet of East Longmeadow, and her nieces, Kimberly Coleman, Susan Hitchcock and Dan, Nina St. Laurent and Dan, and a nephew William Coleman. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service at 1:00PM on Friday (February 27, 2026) in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 895 Parker St., Springfield, MA (section-Oak Garden of Bronze). Please plan on arriving at the cemetery by 12:45PM and assemble by the Hillcrest Park Mausoleum, prior to the procession to the gravesite. There are no calling hours.
