Barbara Ellen (Ingram) Nickles, left this world to embark a new journey on October 31st, 2025, with family by her side. Born in Highland, Illinois, to Kenneth and Dolores (Dragovich) Ingram. Barb graduated from Edwardsville Highschool, class of 1969, and attended SIUE and LLCC before taking employment by the State of Illinois for 30 years before retiring in 2009. Barb was an active member of Holy Family Parish in Litchfield Illinois, where she served as eucharistic minister and led the youth as a PSR teacher, becoming the director for two years. Barb enjoyed spending her time with family and friends. She especially cherished her adventures during a mini Cooper rally. Through her retirement, Barb enjoyed spending time out on her swing watching birds. She is survived by her two sons, Josh (Julie) Nickles, of Shiloh, and Chad (Amy) Nickles, of Brownstown; eight grandchildren, Carlee, Lindsey, Paityn, Landon, Lucas, Colby, Rowan, and Frances (Frankie); her brother, Michael (Barbara) Ingram, of Edwardsville, sister, Jana (Robert) Chappel, of Wentzville MO; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Kenneth and Dolores. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 am with Rev. Robert J. Jallas presiding. Interment will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, IL. Condolences may be shared online at weberfuneralhome.com.

Josh and Chad, my heart hurts for both of you and your families. Your Mom was such a fantastic lady and our family loved her dearly. We had a lot of fun filled times together. We will keep all of you in our prayers.
