Barbara Nikiel Obituary
Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Monday, October 4, 2021, Barbara Nikiel in her 56th year with family and close friends the Przedzik family at her side. Beloved wife of the late Leszek Nikiel (2018). Loving mother of Paulina Nikiel (David O'Hagan) and Norbert Nikiel. Survived by her sisters Grazyna Kaminska and Halina Frysztak and her brother Piotr Frysztak of Poland, as well as many nieces and nephews also in Poland. Barbara will be dearly missed by her entire family, friends and her dear friend Mary Przedzik as well as Mary's family. Predeceased by her parents Izydor Frysztak and Władysława Frysztak. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill St, London, on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Church priorto the Mass. Online condolences and guest book at www.oneilfuneralhome.ca As per COVID 19 regulations, all visitors will be required to wear a mask, maintain physical distancing, and provide their name and contact information for contact tracing at both the funeral home and the church upon arrival.

There are no words that can describe how shocking was the sudden death or our beloved Basia. Beautiful life shattered in a moment. Dreadful grief fell on us like a bolt from the blue. Special comiseration for her children Paulina and Norbert, we unite with you in painful mourning.
