Barbara Maxine (Mitchell) Noe passed from this life on Thursday, April 27, 2023, in her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral Services will be held 2PM on Friday May 5, 2023 at the John Maxwell Gymnasium, Bray-Doyle Public Schools. Burial will take place at a later date under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Services of Marlow.
Visitation for Barbara will be at the funeral home on Thursday, May 4, 12:00-8:30 PM. There will be a family visitation from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Barbara was born June 8, 1940, to Lloyd S. and Doris (Mills) Mitchell in Colcord, OK. Barbara grew up in Colcord and graduated from Colcord High School in 1958. She married George Robert Noe on December 21, 1958, and they were married for 64 years until her passing. George and Barbara began their school system careers in White Oak in 1961. They moved to Bray, OK in 1975. She was a support staff for Bray-Doyle Public Schools from 1976-2019 when she retired.
Survivors include her husband George of the home, daughter, Kimberly and Rick Smith, daughter Karla Sanders, grandchildren Alana Gill and Jamal Minatee, Jason and Ashley Smith, Leslie Owings, Robert and Amanda Jensen, Clay Griggs, Robert and Clint Kennedy, Daniel Brinkley, and Tammy Kolczyski; great-grandchildren: Emalee Gill, Devyn Gill, Jack Minatee, Scout Minatee, Creed Minatee, Hunter Smith, Hadley Smith, Kylie Owings, Elias Jensen, Kamron Griggs, and Kaden Griggs; sisters-in-law Jan "Mitchell" Hagar and Charlene Noe; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Billy L. Mitchell; her son, Gregory Leon Noe; and Son in law, Timothy Sanders
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made directly to the Bray-Doyle Athletic Booster Club or The Bray Cemetery in Barbara's name.
