Barbara Nuzum, 83, of Plainfield, IL, born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on August 12th 2025. Beloved partner of the late Paul Swope and the late Norman Armstrong. Loving mother of Laurie (Michael) Thompson, Victor (Kimberly) Swope, and Jenny (Dennis) Green. Cherished grandmother of Amanda Callahan, John (Tameka) Osteen, Anthony (Pamela) Swope, Trista (Clint) Gibson, Jennifer Swope, Gregory (Cassandra) Bishop, Amy Todd, Beth Todd, Zachary (Tara) Green, Nicholas Green, Travis Swope, and Trevor Swope and 30 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Delmar & Orrell Nuzum, Siblings, Latricia Bieth, Kenny Nuzum, Leslie Nuzum and Richard Nuzum and grandchildren Kathleen Rose Swope and Amanda Lyn Swope. Barbara loved Christmas Hallmark movies, bingo and scratch-off lottery tickets. Celebration of life to follow at a later date.
