Wenig Funeral Home - Sheboygan FallsBarbara M. Otto, 89, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away with her loving family at her side, on Friday, November 28, 2025, at The Waterford in Plymouth.
Barb was born on June 11, 1936, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Mesick) Smith. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1954. Barb was united in marriage to Arvid Otto on June 26, 1955, in Princeton.
Barb was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls, where she enjoyed helping in the nursery and assisting with bulletin preparation for many years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing Bingo. Barbara enjoyed flowers, baking, cooking, and reading.
Barb is survived by her daughter, Linda (Robert) Koene of Sheboygan Falls; son, Kenneth (Marilou) Otto of Sheboygan Falls; grandchildren, Sarah (Kelly) Larson, Rebecca (Justin) Thimmig, Rowan and Justine Otto; great-grandchildren, Myles and Daphne Larson, Mallory, Parker, and Vanessa Thimmig; brother-in-law, Donald Otto of Sheboygan Falls; and niece, Amy (Ralph) Price.
Barb was preceded in death by her husband Arvid, granddaughter Elizabeth Howard, parents, sisters-in-law Mardell (Joe) Diamentis, Mary (Daniel) Pischke, Dorothy Otto, Joan Otto; and brother-in-law Roger Otto.
A funeral to celebrate Barb's life will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2:30pm. Entombment will take place at the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan.
Friends may greet the family at the church on Saturday from 1:00pm until the time of the service.
Memorials are appreciated in Barb’s name to Allay Hospice.
Barb’s family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the staff at The Waterford, where she had resided the last 6 years.
