Barbara Ann Ozbun

Barbara Ann Ozbun of Delta Township passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 91. Barbara was born March 6, 1933 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Gerald Charles and Doris Minnie (Prince) Daman. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in the Class of 1951, and went on to do secretarial work for the Attorney General of the State of Michigan and Hayes Middle School. She was very active in her Catholic faith, and was a devoted member of St. Gerard Catholic Church since 1963. Barbara loved quilting and golfing. Barbara even accomplished the cherished memory of getting a hole-in-one at the Grand Ledge Country Club. Along with being a loving wife and mother, Barbara had many life-long friends. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by children, Mary Lou (Les) Searls, Patti (Jack) Lipsey, Brenda Neirink, Donna (Tom) Hasbany, Mike (Denise) Ozbun, Julie Ozbun, and Jamie (Ronald) Froehlich; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; brothers, Maurice (Sue) Daman and Gerry (Donna) Daman along with sister, Mary Jupin. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Don Ozbun.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025, 10:30 AM at St. Gerard Catholic Church in Lansing. Inurnment will follow at Delta Center Cemetery, Lansing. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions in Barbara's name may be given to Shared Pregnancy Women's Center, P.O.
