Cremation Society of SC - Brown Funerals - SenecaWith profound sadness, we announce that Barbara “Barbie” Chambers Phillips, beloved wife and daughter, passed away on November 3, 2025, surrounded by family. Born to Jim and Karen Chambers, Barbie was an active, happy, and strong-willed girl who was a co-leader in Girl Scouts with her mom for ten years. While in high school, she participated in several school organizations as an honor student. Upon graduation, she attended college at NC State, where she graduated in 1995 with two degrees. She started her career as a consultant with Price-Waterhouse before returning home to use her expertise to help and grow the family business, Chambers Flintlocks. Upon her father’s retirement, Barbie became owner and president of the business. Barbie married Trint in 2013 and was a loving and devoted wife. She was always accompanied by Pippin, her and Trint’s dog, whom she doted over. She enjoyed scuba diving, photography, cooking, college football, hunting, raising orchids, helping others, and most importantly, sharing her faith in Jesus. Barbie never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who met her. Barbie continued participating in many organizations as an adult, including past board member of the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association, Vice President and dedicated membership committee member of the Contemporary Longrifle Association, instructor for Women on Target, treasurer for the WNC Friends of the NRA, and former assistant leader with Crosstrail Outfitters. Barbie is survived by her husband of 12 years, Trint, and her parents, Jim and Karen. A celebration of life will be held for Barbie at the Seneca Presbyterian Church in Seneca, SC, on December 6, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
