ABBEVILLE...Barbara Campbell Price, a resident of Abbeville, died early Monday evening, January 20, 2025, at her home. She was 81. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 24, 2025, at Sardis Baptist Church with Reverend George Bryan officiating. Entombment will be at a later date in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. Friday in the church sanctuary. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Brenda Roberson, 1791 County Road 133, Abbeville, AL 36310. Barbara Price was born and reared in Barbour County, near Clio, daughter of the late Huey Campbell and Louise Welch Campbell. She was a graduate of Clio High School and attended Wallace Community College where she received an Associates Degree in Business. Barbara lived in Henry County all her adult lifetime. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church. Mrs. Price worked with her husband and sons in the operation of Price Farms. She was preceded in death by a brother, Benny Frank Campbell. Surviving relatives include her husband of sixty-two years, Thomas Floyd "Bib" Price; four sons, Clay Price, Jon Price (Michelle), Jarrell Price (Jaime), and Cary Price (Kellie), all of Abbeville; grandchildren, Sarah Grace Quinlan (Devin), Parker Hyatt, Hudson Price, Caleb Price (Madison), Katie Price, Karlee Price, Ava Price, Jack Price, and Tucker Price (Caylee); great-grandchildren, Reese Strickland and Bo Price; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Key and a brother-in-law, Jack Price (Nelda). Serving as active pallbearers will be Barbara's four sons and Tucker Price and Caleb Price. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Barbara, please visit our Tree Store.
