On Saturday December 6, 2025, Barbara Ellen (Farrell) Prince of Beltsville, Maryland passed away peacefully at home.
Barbara (Bobbie) was born October 1, 1937, in Hughesville, MD to the late John Edward and Josepine Mary Farrell.
She lived most of her life in the Washington DC area. She married Jack Lee Prince on October 3 rd , 1955. They lived in District Heights, Maryland until moving to their FOREVER home in Beltsville, MD where she was a housewife and raised her 6 children and cared for many others.
Preceded in death by Parents John Edward Farrell, Josepine Mary (Hunt) Farrell, Husband Jack Lee Prince, Sr., Jackie Lee Prince Jr., Jessica (Prince) Fister, and 13 brothers and sisters (Myrtle, Edward, John, Geroge, James, Thomas, Mildred, Hazel, Martha, Catherine, William, Agnes and Norman)
Survived by her Children Brenda T. Prince, Dennis J. Prince (Mary) Deborah J. Bassford, Christoper F. Prince (Kelly Stecchino), Catherine I. Keppler (Gary), Grandchildren Jason, Justin (Cece), Bryan, Timothy, Tiffany, Emma, Gabrielle, Jennifer, Craig (Allison), Jeffery, Barbara (Shaun’Bredrk), Kody and Sarah. Great Grandchildren Kyle, Emily, Aniyah, Rory, Arthur, and Avalynn. Mollie is due in February 2026, As well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mom, Nanny, Bobbie, Aunt Bobbie, Mrs. P. whomever she was to you, she always made you feel welcome and loved in her home with a homecooked meal and a glass of sweet tea. She was a caretaker of many, dedicated to her family and loyal friend.
She enjoyed cooking, canning, bowling, ceramics, crocheting, playing board Games, cards, doing puzzles, going to the beach but mostly spending time with her FAMILY.
