Barbara S. Quest (nee Shearrer), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Donald Quest; cherished daughter of the late Roy Shearrer and the late Edith Chamberlain; Devoted mother of Deanna (Chip) Hackman; loving grandmother of Makenzie (Benjamin) Struemph and Kendra (Timothy Flavin) Hackman; treasured great grandmother of Callahan Struemph; dear sister of Sarah Shearrer and the late Mary Lou Grilliot.
Barbara volunteered her time to help many at Immaculate Conception in Dardenne Prairie. She spent her life loving and caring for her family. The most amazing mother and grandmother, Barbara was known to many as simply "Mom." She radiated joy, bringing sunshine to everyone she encountered. With a kind heart, she was a great problem solver and a comforting shoulder to lean on. Barbara's warmth extended beyond her family, touching the lives of all who knew her. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, sudoku, and embroidery, and had a passion for poker, bunco, and dominoes. Barbara was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all.
