Regas, Barbara Tolliver – age 76, of Knoxville, a loving wife, mother, and title she was most proud of "Grand Mother," passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Barbara started her career as a dental hygienist at Dr. Reuben Robinson's office where she met her husband of 46 years, Gus Regas. More than anything, Barbara was dedicated to her family and had a passion for serving those in need. She loved nothing more than cooking for her family and attending to her rose garden. She was the daughter of the late Zaniel and Vina Tolliver and was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Raymond Tolliver, Glen Tolliver, Jerry Tolliver, Ted Tolliver, and Judy Somner. Barbara is survived by her husband, Costa George "Gus" Regas; children, Matthew and wife Amanda Regas, Chelse Eileen Regas; grandchildren, Bennett and Harrison Regas; sisters, Doris Maurer, Faye Langley and husband Fred; a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 6:30 pm with the Funeral to immediately follow at 6:30 pm at Rose Funeral & Cremation – Mann with Dr. Josh Whitehead officiating. The Interment will be on Friday at 1:00 pm at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Memorials in Barbara's name may be made to Alzheimer's Tennessee, www.alztennessee.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. Online condolences may be made at www.rosefuneraltn.com.
