Barbara Roach Obituary
Originally from Northborough, Massachusetts, Barbara relocated to Irondequoit in 2015. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent Roach; her parents, Edward and Bertha (Capen) Porter; and her brother, Alan Porter.
Barbara is survived by her devoted daughter, Eileen Steinchen; son-in-law, David Steinchen; and her cherished grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings: Kenneth Porter (Linda) of Florida, Sharon Morse (Steve) of Florida, Scott Porter (Dawn) of Massachusetts, and Linda Rice (Arthur) of Massachusetts. Barbara will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews as well.
A talented and creative individual with a keen eye for decorating, Barbara worked for many years as a home and office painter. In her later years, she found joy in reading, watching football, and doting on her grandchildren.
A burial service will be held at a later date in Massachusetts.
Barbara's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
