William Roach Obituary
Mr. Roach is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Robert Harrell of Brunswick, GA; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in The East Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. Internment will follow at Honey Creek Woodlands. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Brightmoor Hospice Foundation, 3247 Newnan Road Griffin, GA 30223. William Monroe Roach, Jr. was my best friend. We have known each other since we struck up a friendship in the 9th Grade at Jane Macon Junior High in Brunswick,GA. We hung out together all through High School at Glynn Academy in Brunswick, GA. We spoke on the phone on a regular basis over the years, usually for 45 minutes to an hour talking about everything from sports to politics, but mainly sports. We last spoke on the phone about a week before he passed. I am still in denial that he is gone. Bill was a kind man, often visiting sick friends and taking them to the doctor or dentist if they could not drive. I will miss him immensely, but I know that he is in heaven. I'll see you up there!

William M. "Billy" Roach, Glynn Academy Class of '64 and Brunswick Jr College Alum and Class of '66, has been added to the Glynn Academy "Gone but Not Forgotten" list. Bill was a friend, not just to me, but to anyone who came in contact with him. He will be missed!
