Barbara Ruth Maze Brown Rust peacefully entered the presence of the Lord on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 90 years of age in Manchester at her daughter's home after a lengthy illness. A Celebration of life will be 2 PM Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Trinity Baptist Church in Manchester. Per Barbara's wishes, she will be cremated. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until service time Saturday at the church. Barbara was born in Maxwell, TN to the late Tennessee Cozetta Maze Brown Stone and Alton Maze on July 26, 1935. She was an only child. She was raised by her stepfather Pascal Cooper Brown from 1937-1953. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Barbara met Henry Rust at Franklin County High School, and got married in Trenton, Georgia on February 28, 1953. Henry and Barbara were blessed with three children. Henry and Barbara were the owners of Northside Clocks in Manchester for many years until retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry B. Rust, mother, father, and son, Howell Rust. She leaves to mourn her passing Ruthie Frassrand (David) of Manchester, Brenda Hitt (Brent) of Normandy. Six grandchildren, Mandi Bennett of McMinnville, Lori West (Kevin) of Manchester, Erika Holt (Jason) of McMinnville, Laura Lockmiller (Kevin) of Tullahoma, Derek Rust (Nicole) of Manchester, and Erin Feldhaus (David) of Shelbyville. Three step-grandchildren, Craig Frassrand of Manchester, Abby Jones (Grant) of Manchester, and Sarah Alexander (John) of Knoxville; sixteen great grandchildren, and her beloved pet cat Bunny. My sister and I would like to thank the nurses and aides at Gentiva Hospice, NHC in Tullahoma, and the nurses on the third floor at Harton Hospital. They all took really special care of our mother. Especially amazing, Christina Colon who took care of our mother at the end. Mama loved Christina. She would always ask when she was coming. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
