Santosuosso, Barbara (Reedy) of Londonderry, NH formerly of Revere passed away on March 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 92. Born in Revere on April 4, 1933, to the late William J. Reedy and Florence (DelVecchio). Known for her radiant smile and kind nature, Barbra will be dearly remembered not just as a loving mother but as a friend, a confidant, and a source of inspiration.
Barbra, was a dedicated secretary at MHG Hospital, serving with passion and commitment. She worked for esteemed doctors like Dr. Borstien and Dr. Glazier for many years, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues. Barbra also had an entrepreneurial spirit, having successfully sold Avon beauty products for many years, bringing joy and confidence to many women in her community.
A lover of life, Barbra had a special passion for ballroom dancing, a hobby that brought her immense joy and allowed her to express her zest for life. If you ever had the pleasure of leaving a message on her answering machine you would hear her end it with "Got to get Dancing." She also served as a Eucharistic minister, showcasing her devout faith and commitment to serving others. She would hand out rosary beads to anyone and everyone willing to accept. Barbra was more than her accomplishments; she was a beacon of love and kindness who made a difference in the lives of those around her.
She was a devoted mother of Albert Santosuosso and his wife Meloney of Wakefield, William Santosuosso and his wife Linda of Wakefield, and Barbara Santosuosso of Londonderry, NH. Dear siter of William J. Reedy Jr. of Revere. Caring Sister-in-law to Betty Reedy of Everett. Adored grandmother and great grandmother to many.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St, Revere, at 11:00am (everyone to meet directly at church). Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St, Revere, MA 02151.
