Barbara Sarnoski

Barbara A. Sarnoski, 87, of Lincoln Park, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024. Born in Monessen, PA, she was the daughter of Peter and Barbara Roman. Barbara was the loving wife of Edward J. Sarnoski, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.
Barbara was a 1954 graduate of Hazleton High School. As a jewelry saleswoman at Boscov's, she dedicated her working years to assisting customers in finding the perfect pieces.
Barbara was a hobbyist artist who enjoyed drawing. She had a deep admiration for the natural beauty that surrounded her and she loved reading books, particularly mysteries.
In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her son, Mark Sarnoski, husband of Karen, of Ambler, PA, and her daughter, Sharon Edmondson, wife of Ric, of Fairfax Station, VA. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Nicholas, Megan, Robert, and Geena.
Barbara was predeceased by her siblings, Peter and Dennis Roman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11AM at St. John Baptist de la Salle. 42 Kerrick Rd, Shillington, PA 19607. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Barbara's memory may be made to the Dementia Society of America at PO Box 600 Doylestown, PA 18901.
