Barbara was known for her selfless acts of kindness, her love of cooking and baking, and her devotion to her family and friends. She loved and appreciated everything about life from volunteering with rescue dogs, enjoying the serenity of the beach, riding her Harley, to being in charge of all the desserts at family celebrations. More than anything, Barbara was a devoted mother and soon to be grandmother. She had an undeniable presence and made others feel seen, included, and loved by her, family or not.
She is survived by her partner, Carlo Renda; son, Joseph (Anna) Diaz; mother and stepfather, Marguerite and Joe Devenney; Siblings, Susanne (Jeff) Duffell and Paul (Kathy) Valerio; Nephews and Nieces, Carl (Brittney) Santana, Steven (Kalie) Santana, Matthew, Anna, and Nicholas Valerio; three step-children, Carly (Alex) Sharpstein, Stephen Renda, Kristen Renda; AND her beloved Romeo To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Barbara, please visit our Tree Store.

Loved seeing Barbara & Carl walking handsome Romeo around the neighborhood .

Her professionalism, patience, and commitment to our community made a lasting impact, and she will be truly missed.
