Barbara Schultz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ambrose Funeral Home - Bay City on Dec. 2, 2025.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara J. Schultz, who left this world peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the age of 81.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Schultz) Watz, (Thomas Watz), parents to Christopher (Danielle) Watz, and their children Bryden and Archie; and to Marguerite (Donald) Partain along with their children Reagan and Charlie Partain; her eldest son, Edward (Carrie) Schultz, their daughter Kaydee (William Bush) Schultz and youngest son Michael (Patty) Schultz and their children, Michael and Matthew Schultz; her brother, Ralph Thomas White, and cousins, Carol LaLonde, Judy Strue, Sharon Vallier, and Mary Ann Geer. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Edward J. Schultz, Sr., with whom she shared a long and devoted marriage, as well as her parents Elmer and Marguerite White, and her siblings Jerry White, Gail White, Lorraine Baker, and Elmer White, Jr.
Barbara filled her life's journey with faith, love, creativity, and laughter. A woman of deep and steady faith, she devoted many years to teaching Religious Formation at the former Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church, and St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, forming lifelong friendships along the way.
She had a passion for travel, especially with her sisters, cousins, and an amazing circle of friends. Whether exploring new places or revisiting favorites, she found joy in every adventure. Artistic by nature, Barbara immersed herself in numerous arts and crafts, always creating something beautiful, thoughtful, or simply fun. She especially loved playing cards and games. Barbara held various positions within the Ridgeway Club, Inc. of Hobe Sound and the Ridgeway Garden Club.
Barbara was a gifted storyteller and a delightful practical joker, known for her creative pranks, spirited humor, and ability to laugh at herself. Her personality filled every room she entered; she lived life fully and vibrantly, embracing each moment with joy and curiosity. She found beauty everywhere. She was captivated by breathtaking architecture, the wonders of nature, the splendor of God's creation, the rich autumn colors of Michigan, and the glowing sunsets of Florida.
Above all, Barbara was the best Mom and Mimi. She was devoted, protective, endlessly loving, and always present. Her family was her heart. She delighted in every opportunity to show how precious each of them was to her, and her love will continue to guide and strengthen them for generations to come.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, St. Vincent DePaul Church 2956 E. North Union Rd., Bay City, Michigan on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., with Fr. James William Bessert presiding. Inurnment will take place privately at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's honor to a charity of the donor's choice.
Barbara's legacy of love, faith, humor, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. May she rest in God's eternal peace.
