Barbara Shoate Obituary
Barbara Ann Shoate, age 73, of Moran, Kansas, passed away November 13, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital - Plaza, Kansas City, Missouri. Barbara was born January 24, 1952, in Wichita, Kansas, to Raymond Rogers and Leona (Gerdsen) Rogers.
Barbara attended school in Wichita, Kansas, and later obtained her emergency medical technician license. She worked as an EMT for Allen County, Kansas, for 23 years.
Barbara and Roy Shoate were united in marriage 0n September 11, 1971, in Wichita, Kansas.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Roy.
Barbara is survived by her children, Sarah (Andrew) Alumbaugh, Adam Shoate; grandson, Raymond Alumbaugh; siblings, Donald (Karen) Rogers, Michael Rogers; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
