Barbara J. Simones

At the age of 80 and resident of Casa Grande, Arizona, Barbara Simones passed away peacefully on December 30th, 2025 in the presence of her family. She was born on September 7th, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She grew up in Jordan, Minnesota, where her parents owned a hardware store. She received her Bachelor's in Education at Mankato State University. She then taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grades English and Science classes. Once she married, she focused solely on being a wife and mother of four children residing on a small dairy farm in Ellsworth, Wisconsin area.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anne Marie; her two brothers, George (Arlene) Simones and Mark Simones; her sister in-law, Arlene Simones; and her parents, LeRoy and Myrtle Simones. She is survived by her two siblings, Beth (Tom) Larsen and Paul (Patti) Simones; her four children, Clarissa Stern, Benjamin (Jennifer) Stern, Christopher Stern, Daniel (Megan) Stern; her eight grandchildren, Kaleb (Sydney), Cameron (Iran), Haley, Conner, Jaylee, Addison, Jacob, Charlotte; her two great grandchildren, Cecelia and Quintin; and many nieces and nephews.

She had a strong love for the Heavenly Father and people. May she always be remembered and rest in peace.
