Barbara A. Staph, 79, of Central Lake, passed away on August 6, 2024 at her home.
Barb was born on June 27, 1945, in Charlevoix, the daughter of Russell and Bernice (Dustin) Pierce.
A lifelong resident of Central Lake, she enjoyed gardening, flowers, traveling and bird watching.
Surviving are 4 children, Brad Scott of Central Lake, Brent Scott of Lake, MI, Brian Scott of Howard City, MI, Sharon (Chad) Estel of Summerville, SC, a step-daughter Doreen “Sam” Trierweiler of Belmont, MI, a sister Cindy (Eugene) Bloom of Fairbanks, AK, 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Tony Staph, brother Ted Pierce and her parents.
At her request there will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be made to DeVos Children’s Hospital.
Arrangements are in the care of the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
