Barbara Steffen

Barbara Steffen, age 82, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was defined by strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Barbara was the beloved wife of Gary Steffen, her husband of 64 years, with whom she shared a lifetime of devotion and partnership. She was a proud and loving mother to her children, Denise Steffen, Ron Steffen (Colleena), Debra Krallman (Mike), and a cherished grandmother to Danny, Christine, Jackie, Tony, Steffen, Eric, Mikey, Marshall, Mac, and Emma. She was also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
A four-time cancer survivor, Barbara faced life's greatest challenges with courage and determination. Her family describes her as the strongest person in their large family, a woman whose perseverance and grace inspired everyone who knew her.
Barbara will be remembered most for her unconditional love-a love that knew no limits and was freely given to family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Her kindness, strength, and steadfast presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love will live on through generations.
She leaves behind a family forever grateful for the time they shared with her and the example she set. Barbara Steffen will be lovingly remembered.
Visitation will be held on Friday January 9, 2026 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Service will follow at 12:30pm. Burial will be at Floral Hills Cemetery.
