Dansville/Vero Beach, FL – Barbara Sundlof age 75, passed away at home on June 1, 2022, in Dansville.
She was born in Rochester, NY on February 8, 1947, a daughter of the late Wallace and Barbara French. On August 1, 1998, she was married to Charles J. Sundlof, who survives. She was predeceased by her son Andrew Eve, brother David French and parents-in-law Charlie and Mary Sundlof.
Once retired, Barb and Charlie enjoyed a Canadian/Alaskan cruise; spending time at their winter home in Vero Beach; and working on and relaxing at their seasonal cabin in Ossian. Barb enjoyed wildlife and seashore photography and was an excellent baker. Barb retired as executive secretary to the Director of Campus Auxiliary Services at SUNY Geneseo after 30 years of service.
In addition to her husband, Barb is survived by her son Michael Eve, siblings; Jeanette Johnston, Irving (Peg) French, Ann (Ronald) Matteson, Sue (Roger) Howell, her stepchildren; Charles R. Sundlof and Andrea (Nick) Stoller, and two grandsons; Charles B. Sundlof and Dylan Stoller. Also survived by Charlie's siblings and spouses, several nieces and nephews and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at: HindleFuneralHome.com.
