Barbara Jean Taylor

Barbara Jean Taylor, age 86, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Monday, February 23, 2026. She was born July 13, 1939 in Modesto, California to Charles and Esther Hysell. Barbara was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and devoted her whole life to family. She enjoyed antiques and painting but her family brought her the greatest joy, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Taylor; sister, Darlene Hysell; and her parents.

Barbara is survived by one son, Charles Edward Taylor and wife Joanna; daughters, Lianna Ramage and husband Bryan, Bonnie Lummus and husband Ricky; brother, William Hysell; sister, Wilma Jones; grandchildren, Charles Justin Taylor, Alicia Lynn McCord, Mindy Lynn Mills, Megan Hodges, Mallory Tromza, Richard D. Hinton, Macie Cox, Lillian Snow, Ceseleigh Snow, Josh Ramage, Eric Ramage; great grandchildren, Layla McCord, Tatum McCord, Ava Mills, Aubree Mills, Emma Taylor, Ginny Taylor, Austin Taylor, Wylie Jo Hodges, Dooley Hodges, Texi Belle Hodges, Sybbie Tromza, Adahlee Ramage, George Ramage, Endley Ramage, Elsie Tromza, Abram Tromza; and a host of other friends and family members.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
