Barbara J. Thomm

Barbara J. Thomm, age 78, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on April 24, 1935 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Melvin J. and Jean R. (Demars) Abraham. Barb married John Thomm in 1958 in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on November 14, 1983. Barb was a professional wrestler in her twenties, which led to her becoming friends with many New York Yankees players during that time. She loved shopping and was a Rolling Stones fan.SURVIVORS: three children, Susan Thomm of Hortonville, Mike Thomm of Fond du Lac, and Jean (Louie) Steffes of Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Timothy (Liz) Greene, Anthony Greene, and Ashley (special friend TJ Higgins) Greene; three great-grandchildren, Jo, Isaiah, and Bentley; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.



VISITATION: Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 3-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI. FUNERAL: Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.
