Barbara Lee "Barb" Travis, age 76, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Friday, August 29, 2025 at her home.

Born January 22, 1949 in Hill City, Kansas, she was the daughter of Calvin and Phyllis (Kincaid) Hensley. On February 1, 1969 in Lenora, Kansas she was united in marriage to Bernard Eugene "Gene" Travis, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are her son, Sean Travis and wife Jennifer of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and brothers, Steven Hensley and wife Mary Ann of Spring Branch Texas and Calvin Hensley and wife Donna of Cassville, Missouri.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Stanley Hensley and sister, Beverly Rose.

Barb grew up and attended school in Lenora, Kansas graduating from Lenora High School before continuing her studies at Tulsa Community College, where she earned an associate degree. Barb was employed at Timco Machine Tool, Incorporated in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma as the general manager until her retirement in 2008. She and Gene began a new chapter in their lives when they moved to Cassville from Broken Arrow in 2008. Some of her favorite pastimes were sewing, cooking, and traveling. She also enjoyed spending time at the lake water skiing. She was a member of Viola Victory Church. Barb's absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
