It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara "Barb" Rae Vaughan on Saturday, April 26, 2025, following a period of declining health after the loss of her beloved partner, Scott Logan. Though her passing was due to natural causes, her heart never stopped mourning the love they shared. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and sense of humor.
Barbara Rae Vaughan was born April 29, 1971 to Ray and Nancy (Marsh) Vaughan in Parkers Prairie, MN. She attended Fergus Falls High School, graduating in 1989. She then also attended Fergus Falls Community College, earning her degree in Business Administration and Management in 1996.
She held various positions over the years, including, most recently, Ugstad's Plumbing, Fergus Falls Monument and Amazon Flex.
Barb loved traveling, music, tubing down the river, playing Bingo, cruising in the Sling Shot with Scott, playing cards, spending time with friends and family, being outside, horseback riding, motorcycle rides, crocheting, playing Candy Crush, and races.
She loved her granddaughters dearly and her granddog, Jax. Barb had an amazing smile, was a social butterfly, always up for adventures and trying new things. She was fun, friendly, and always had a big hug for you.
Preceding her in death, Grandparents Fred and Mabel Vaughan, and Harvey and Audrey Marsh, and significant other Scott Logan.
Barb is survived by her daughter, Brittany Vaughan (Dan Herme Sr.) of Arlington, MN; grandchildren, Serenity Vaughan, Isabelle Kapitan, Danne Herme Jr., Jocalynn Herme, and Joseph Herme; her parents, Ray and Nancy Vaughan; siblings, Greg (Melanie) Vaughan, Ivan Vaughan, Michell (David) Week, and Lisa (Troy) Milbeck; nephews, Eli Milbeck, Jeff Vaughan, Josh Vaughan, and William Vaughan; nieces, Natasha Hadland and Mandee Estrada, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and close friends she considered family.
