Barbara Veresh

Barbara (Darosett) Veresh, Age 80, of Boston, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, born on June 2, 1945, in Indianapolis, IN, she spent 28 years in Fort Wayne, IN, before moving to Boston to be closer to her daughters.

Barb was the devoted mother of Dena Paris and her husband Matt of Jamaica Plain, MA, and Beth Thompson-Webb of Dover, MA, and the cherished grandmother of Sophie, Lydia, Ashton, Garrett, and Caroline. Quick to laugh and always ready with a smile, Barb valued family above all else, and extended that same warmth to her many friends. She treasured the close, meaningful bonds that brought her joy, laughter, and strength, and she cherished the companionship of those who walked alongside her through the years.

A talented artist, Barb's creativity and humor reflected her generous heart and unique view of the world. She will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the love she shared so freely with all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, from 4–7 p.m. Please contact the family for details.
