Barbara Jean Weipert

Barbara Jean Weipert (née Nonte), age 85, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Weipert and a loving, devoted mother to Suzanne, Judith (John), John (Michelle), and the late Steven. She was a cherished grandmother to Sara and Nathan.

Barbara formed lifelong friendships during her years at St. Bernard High School in Detroit, friendships she treasured throughout her life. A devoted mother, she found joy in singing, playing the guitar, and painting-creative gifts she shared generously with those around her.

Above all, Barbara lived a life deeply rooted in faith. A strong and passionate promoter of the Catholic faith, she was guided by compassion and a sincere desire to save souls, leading and inspiring many conversions over the years. Her faith was lived through action, as she also cared deeply for helping those in need and serving others with kindness and humility.

Barbara's legacy of faith, hope, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with Instate at 10:00 a.m. and a Rosary at 10:30 a.m., at St. Ronald Catholic Church, 17701 Fifteen Mile Road, Clinton Township, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to Capuchin Soup Kitchen or the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph would be appreciated by Barbara's family.
