Mary Jane Tocco

Mary Jane Tocco, age 100, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Joseph for 30 wonderful years. Loving mother of Mary Ellen (Larry) Collette, Joe (the late Peg), and Sandy (Ron) Demers. Cherished grandmother of Keith (Angela), Holly (Dan), Greg, Joe Jr., Jim (Tiffany), Renee (Matt), and Eric (Anna). Proud great-grandmother of Matt, Molly, Vince, Anna, Sam, Oliver, Emmaline, Paige, Ryan, and Avery.

Dear sister of Michael Sherman and Tom Sherman, and preceded in death by her siblings Norma Farr, Kay Wand, Judy Sohn, and Jimmy Sherman. Mary Jane is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Mary Jane truly loved her home and took great joy in caring for it. She especially enjoyed gardening and spending quiet time reading books. Earlier in her life, she worked at J.L. Hudson's when the store first opened at Eastland Mall, a time she always remembered fondly.

Mary Jane will be deeply loved, cherished, and missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m. at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores.
