Barbara Wenstrom Obituary
Barbara Wenstrom, age 82, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 13,2025. Barbara was born in Camden, NJ on February 23,1943 to the late John and Bertha Jankowski.
Her title of “Mom” gave her the greatest joy and she was deeply proud of each of her children. However, the title that brought her even more love was “Gmom” and eventually “Gigi”. From Sunday dinners and Easter egg hunts to Christmas Eve celebrations, Barbara created treasured memories for her family. From endless candy jars to the biggest hugs, her role as Gigi kept her heart full.
Barbara was predeceased by her parents, John and Bertha Jankowski, husband George Anton and her granddaughter Jennifer Leigh.
Barbara is survived by her children; Michael Wenstrom (Pam), Steven Wenstrom, Nancy Astemborski (Frank) and Joyce McCarthy (Jim); 8 grandchildren; Courtney Skudalski (Michael), Samantha Thompson (Jeff), Julie McCarthy, Michelle Stocchi (David), Kristin McCarthy, Mark Wenstrom, Todd and Chad Astemborski; 7 great grandchildren; Cameron, Noah, Aubrie, Mackenzie, Bailey, Landon and Jet.
