It is with deep love and sorrow that the family of Barbara Ann (Dooley) Wild announces her passing on October 7, 2025. Barbara departed this world as she lived in it, with grace, peace, and the warmth of her family and loved ones by her side. She faced colon cancer with extraordinary courage and determination, greeting each day with hope and strength until the very end.
Barbara was born in Clifton, New Jersey on November 22, 1950. She had a gift for making others feel at home, offering kindness freely and without hesitation. Thoughtful in every sense, she expressed her gratitude and affection through small, heartfelt gestures-a bouquet, a batch of homemade treats, or a few comforting words to brighten someone's day.
She was the heart of her family. Her laughter, stories, and gentle presence will be missed beyond words.
A talented landscape designer, Barbara had a deep passion for gardening and flowers. As a longtime and devoted member of the Brielle Garden Club, she found joy in sharing her love of gardening. She also cherished her time with Soulful Awakenings, where she found inspiration, friendship, and spiritual connection.
Barbara is survived by her loving daughters, Katelyn (Wild) Haroldson and Sara Wild, who will forever treasure the beautiful memories they shared. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Bailey, her faithful companion and constant source of joy.
A public celebration of Barbara's life will be held in the spring, with details to be shared on her Facebook page once arrangements are complete.
