Barbara Williams Obituary
She was born November 21, 1928, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Bernard and Eleanor VanVleck Bucklaew.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Woolworths in Fort Lauderdale, FL, as manager and waitress.
Barb enjoyed knitting and playing games, but more than anything she loved spending time with family.
Surviving are five daughters Mary Ann Dunlap, Jeannine (George) Armele and Susan Knapp all of Jamestown, Debra Purdy of Texas and Barbara (Neil) Lindberg of Georgia; 19 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 30 great great grandchildren and a brother Thomas Booth of South Carolina.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband David Williams; a son Kenneth Williams; stepfather Fred Booth, who helped raise her; and two sisters Beverly Town and Sylvia Updike.
Friends will be received from 11 am to 1 pm Friday October 31, 2025, immediately followed by a graveside service at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care.

Grandma you will never know what you meant to me, all the cherished moments I have as a child being with you most of the time at your work, at your house watching Golden Girls and Hehaw and eating those big chocolate bars you loved so much. So glad I was able to talk to you quite a bit before you left this earth to be with our Father! He has the sweetest Angel now! I loved that we talked about God and the Bible. I will forever be grateful for you loving me and being the most amazing Grandma! RIH 1 day I will see you and we can dance together in Heaven with our Lord and savior! I love you so very much!!
